COVID-19 Presentation:  Jean Wang
We were honoured to have Jean join us via Zoom with her COVID-19 Philatelic Presentation.  It was amazing to see how much material has been issued since March.
Jean is the first person to received a Grand Award for her a Themactic Exhibit at a National Show.  Her exhibit was titled "Blood".  Great accomplishment Jean!

Starla added some words as well.
Today, October 28, 2020, we had the honour of presenting the Gib Stevens Memorial Award.   The receipient of this award has gone above and beyond for our club.  Membership in the club goes back over 25 years.  This member has been president on several occasions, exhibits and encourages others to do so, has been show chair and worked tirelessly on the show team, with set-up and take-down for many years.  He has also helped other clubs with this task.  This member gives presentations and is always thinking about the higher good of club, even in trying circumstances.  He repairs exhibit frames and stands, looks after their storage, is our club auctioineer, and represented Oxford at the Grand Valley meetings.  With all you have given to the club, it could have been called "Jim's Club", but, something you didn't want.  Jim Watson, we are priviledged to present you with Gib Stevens Memorial Award and you now also a life member of the Oxford Philatelic Society.  Congratulations Jim!
